Jean-Baptiste Gérard is a French entrepreneur, investor, speaker, and professor operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, strategy, and geopolitics.
After graduating from CentraleSupélec Paris-Saclay and Harvard Business School, he built his international career across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He served as a strategy and AI consultant at IBM, advising CAC40 and SBF120 companies, before joining LVMH Group to lead innovation and AI initiatives as an engineer at Louis Vuitton.
He founded Laystone Group, a global company in advisory, investment, and education focused on technology, innovation, and strategy, and Gérard & Associates, through which he advises CEOs, boards, and senior executives on strategic transformation.
As a guest professor at CentraleSupélec – Paris-Saclay University, ESSEC Business School, and Sciences Po Paris, he teaches over 1,000 students annually across programmes in artificial intelligence, innovation, strategy, and leadership.
A regular speaker at international events including GITEX Global in Dubai and L’AGEFI conferences in Paris, he was recognised by Forbes France among its 30 Under 30 most promising entrepreneurs and leaders.
He is also the founder of the Gérard Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to education and the transmission of knowledge.
