THEME: Innovation in the Luxury Sector through Blockchain Technology

During the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai, the Dubai government graciously invited me as an expert to delve into the exciting realm of blockchain and its impact on the luxury industry. My presentation primarily centered on the renewed interest in blockchain within the logistics sector in the post-COVID era. I emphasized the critical importance of establishing trust in products, particularly in the fight against counterfeits, whether they originate from prestigious luxury houses like Louis Vuitton.

I also thoroughly addressed the issue of trust and transparency concerning the guarantee of authenticity in luxury products, notably for an iconic company like LVMH. I underscored LVMH’s essential commitment to investing in blockchain technology to effectively combat counterfeiting, thereby preserving the integrity of luxury brands and ensuring customer satisfaction. This approach illustrates how key players in the luxury industry can take a leading role in promoting blockchain to uphold the quality and authenticity of their products.
